Our love story began over 20 years ago, and wine has been a part of many of our memories. We first experienced good wine in restaurants, then fell in love with wine country the first time we visited Sonoma, CA. As a young couple from the Midwest, one thing struck us early on—a winery is really just a fancy farm! We’ve visited countless vineyards around the nation and abroad, and have always enjoyed learning about different grapes/regions/and wine making styles.
Emily decided to further her formal wine education in 2020 (remember when we were all sitting at home?!) and is currently WSET level 2 certified with distinction. Matt deserves some of the credit for entertaining their daughter while she was in class and helping quiz her with flashcards! Matt is also a bourbon aficionado and can help with spirits consultations.
